It will reduce the accidents on roads and can make certain on-road decisions such as making way for the ambulances and fire-engines.

Computer vision is the way to achieve this.

COMPUTER VISION

Computer vision is the scientific field which helps the computer to understand the world by digital images and videos taken from camera. It is the field of Artificial intelligence which recognize the objects from the camera feed and give the desired output. It include certain tasks such as acquiring, processing, analyzing and then understanding the digital data in the form of image or video taken from the camera. This tasks are completed referring to the data already available on the web.At present it has been used in Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality(VR) and many more.

For example : if your device sees an apple, then it refers to the shape , size , color and dimensions of the apple referring to the data of the apple already present and give output showing that it is an apple.

How Computer Vision Works?

There are 3 simple steps to understand

Step 1.

Camera is used to capture the image. Whatever it sees gets captured to process further. At present every mobile, tablet, laptop, computer has got the in-build cameras in it, so it is easy to capture image anywhere and anytime.

Step 2.

Deep learning plays a very important role in the processing of the captured image. Deep learning models are created and fed with millions of available and possible data about millions of things. They analyze and process the captured image give the desired output with reference of the available data.

Step 3.

We get the Output.

Future Scope

Computer vision has its application on various fields making it advance for the user needs. So it has a very high scope in future. At present it has its use in machine learning and deep learning which the main component of Artificial Intelligence . As every person has been using the digital stuff very rapidly, all of it consists camera in them. So computer vision has a very vast future in various fields. The person who wants to pursue a career in computer vision has a greater opportunity as each sector in future will require AI technology hence computer vision technology.
